Maple Hill Zero Sugar Whole Milk
2021-09-21

Very strange experience. The lack of sugar is immediately obvious. In terms of flavor it only has a subtle distinction from water - the only remaining flavor is a tiny hint of cream.
Texture wise it is still milk like, but also softer - this applies to both the look and mouth feel.
As the milk warms up, the difference in texture becomes more apparent. It gives the sensation of a cloud of milk suspended in water, with a density gradient rather than a hard line of separation. Warmed up the tastiness deficit to normal milk only widens.
A rather strange milk, still decently creamy, but tasting the missing sweetness gives me the impression of being old and longing for youth.
